Our client is a fast-growing fintech company building next-generation payment and infrastructure solutions for high-risk and highly regulated industries. With a strong focus on scalability, security, and performance, they develop robust platforms that support high-volume, low-latency transactions at scale.
They’re currently seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with a strong background in high-risk payment environments, including PSPs, gateways, or cashier platforms. This role is ideal for engineers experienced in building and maintaining mission-critical payment systems within regulated ecosystems.
You will design and develop high-throughput, low-latency backend services, with a preference for JVM-based technologies. Hands-on experience with PCI-aware systems and real-time transaction processing is essential.
Candidates with experience from Payable, Praxis, Nuvei, Payneteasy, PaymentIQ (Worldline), or Worldpay will be highly regarded.
The role will be remote for the first six months, followed by full relocation support. Our client offers top-of-market compensation and the opportunity to work on complex, large-scale payment infrastructure.
