Senior Accountant/ Assistant Manager

Our clients is a CySEC regulated company offering Administrative and corporate Services, providing services to corporations internationally. They’re currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in Accounting, knowledge in VAT and a good command of English.

• Responsible for the accounting of a portfolio of local and international clients
• Posting complicated accounting entries (agreements / resolutions / portfolio transactions etc).
• Reconciliation of banks, creditors/debtors ledgers
• Review and preparation of final accounting reports for audit purposes
• Liaising with auditors and providing support during the audit finalization process.
• Work alongside management to optimize workflow organization and maintaining comprehensive records to monitor clients' accounting/audit/VAT/Tax statuses
• Managing client issues through clear communication and swift resolution
• Documentation and filing of accounting transactions in an organized manner

• 5+ years of experience as an Accountant in a service providing company having similar duties and responsibilities
• Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and spoken).
• Good knowledge of MS Office especially Excel and Word
• Good knowledge of accounting programs (e-soft will be considered an advantage)
• Basic knowledge of VAT and Cyprus corporate Tax; (Payroll knowledge will be considered as a benefit)
• Attention to detail and strong numerical skills
