QA Automation Engineer (Python)

Our client is one of the leading ship management companies globally today. They manage a diverse fleet of vessels via a worldwide network of fully owned subsidiary offices, coordinated from their headquarters in Limassol, Cyprus. Now, they are looking for a QA Automation Engineer (Python) to join their team. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar position and good understanding of Testing Software Life Cycle.

• Work with product owners, engineers, etc. to support them.
• Provide support to develop new and innovative automated in-house solutions.
• Develop a complete QA program that safeguards the quality of products, and fosters a “quality culture,” in which all employees become actively engaged in guaranteeing quality in both production and the finished product.

• University Degree in Computer Science or related field
• hands-on experience in Python (Selenium is a bonus)
• strong and demonstrable detail-oriented and analytical skills
• good understanding of Testing Software Life Cycle
• comfortable with self-management and on-the-job learning,
• curiosity and passion about new technologies,
• team spirit and enjoy working in a team environment
• be able to Log and monitor bugs,
• be able analyse business requirements,
• be able to write and execute test plans,
• be able to work closely with the engineering and product team to analyse and resolve defects,
• be able to implement automated test scenarios in Python
• be able to work with Git as well as CI/CD practices

•  Scrum and agile methodologies,
• JIRA,
• Selenium
• Roboframework
• General understanding of eventual consistency concept
