On behalf of our client, an investment firm based in Limassol, we are seeking an experienced PSP (Payment Service Provider) Manager. The PSP Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing relationships with payment service providers, acquiring banks, and alternative payment method partners, ensuring seamless and compliant payment processing for our clients globally. This role requires deep industry knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the financial services sector.

Job Responsibilities

  • PSP Management & IntegraEon
  • Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with global PSPs, acquiring banks, and payment gateways.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth technical integration of payment solutions.
  • Payments Optimisation
  • Monitor and optimise payment processing flows to improve approval rates and reduce costs.
  • Evaluate and introduce new payment methods to meet client needs across different regions.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure all PSP agreements and payment solutions meet CySEC and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to address fraud prevention, AML, and chargeback issues.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Maintain detailed reports on PSP performance, transaction volumes, and costs.
  • Provide management with strategic insights and recommendations to enhance payment operations.
  • Vendor Negotiation
  • Negotiate commercial terms with PSPs to secure competitive rates and service levels.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in payment service provider management, preferably within an FX/CFD, fintech, or online trading company.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of payment processing, card acquiring, APMs (Alternative Payment Methods), and FX industry payment flows.
  • Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with CySEC regulations, AML/KYC requirements, and PSD2.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical, compliance, and finance teams.
