Lead Web Developer

The Lead Web Developer’s role is to deliver a CMS for a multi-locale marketing website, supporting our different regulatory regions and different businesses and to create and maintain the content of the CMS in line with the company’s marketing strategy.

• To recruit and train the team that will carry out these technical tasks
• To collaborate closely with the business product owner, and product team to ensure we meet our commercial objectives
• To provide technical mentoring and to ensure learning and progressions within the team

• In-depth knowledge of React, React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML
• Experience of building or working with CMS platforms
• Strong awareness of design principles
• Good understanding of modern UI frameworks like React
• Familiar with LEAN product development
• Familiar with Web Analytic frameworks
• A solid understanding of how front-end applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field (alternatively at least 3 years of proven experience for a Junior, more if they're middle / senior
