Job Description

On behalf of our client, a licensed Financial Services company with offices in Limassol, we’re currently looking for a HR Administrator. The successful candidate will be experienced in a similar position and will have a good command of English, with good communication and organizational skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, probation tracking, employee records, HR documentation, and offboarding.
  • Prepare and maintain employment contracts, offer letters, HR letters, leave and attendance records.
  • Prepare monthly payroll input, leave reconciliation, and HR/admin trackers and reports in Excel.
  • Maintain and administer the HR system (e.g. HRIS software), ensuring accurate employee records, leave data, and reporting.
  • Monitor statutory deadlines (probation, contract renewals, insurance renewals, visa/permit expiries for non-EU staff).
  • Liaise with payroll vendors, Social Insurance Services, insurers, and local authorities for compliant HR processing.
  • Draft/update HR handbook and company policies, ensure updates with Cyprus employment law.
  • Maintain office administration routines for a harmonious and collaborative working environment.
  • Act as first local contact for employee HR and admin queries, organize regular staff engagement activities.
  • Support office administration: supplies, courier/document handling, vendor coordination, facilities, and meeting arrangements.
  • Perform other HR or administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of HR or office administration experience, ideally as a sole-contributor generalist.
  • Working knowledge of Cyprus Labour Law, Social Insurance, payroll and tax basics; exposure to non-EU work permits (ARC) is a plus.
  • Solid Excel skills; hands-on HR system experience (e.g. BambooHR or similar) is a strong plus.
  • Regular, purposeful use of AI tools in daily work.
  • Sound, pragmatic judgement and able to implement and explain company decisions clearly and respectfully.
  • Good English communication skills; strong attention to detail, follow-up discipline, and confidentiality.
  • Able to work independently in a small local office while coordinating remotely with regional and global HR teams.
