Automation Systems Programmer

Our client is a well established company in Cyprus offering home technologies. They’re currently growing their team and they’re looking for an Automation Systems Programmer. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of the department and Head of the Developments Team to achieve goals and contribute to a greater success of the company.

• To know in depth all the products and services offered by the company to our clients.
• To know the functionality of all products and systems offered by the company.
• Knowledge of the techniques and capabilities, and programming limitations of the products.
• To refresh their knowledge on how to program the company's products.
• Update on new products - To be informed about the new products and systems offered by the company and refresh their knowledge on the new ways of programming
• Updating the solutions offered by the market - To be informed about market trends, products offered by the competitors, to propose solutions.
• To report to the Project Engineer and the Head of Developers regarding the progress of their work and any problems arising from the work execution
• Research and propose new innovations with the aim of the company development
• Help Desk Assistance – As and when assigned to assist the support department in programming, settings and technical matters
• Support the Sales & Marketing Department as and when required
• To undertake the study and investigation of existing possibilities and new products and inform the sales department in detail about its findings and conclusions. (R&D)
• To apply, without any deviation or error, the instructions given to him or instructions stated in writing regarding the health and safety of persons and facilities alike and the fire safety of the workplaces: production departments, storage areas, laboratories, etc.
• Any other work assigned to him by the Directorate of the Department and the General Management of the company
• Participate in corporate events and actively promote the corporate identity to third parties

• Programming Knowledge - Be familiar with at least one language programming (object oriented) and to have the possibility of learning new adapted programming languages based on the product requirements offered by the company
• Be able to work independently and as part of a project team
• Good problem solving skills and ability to deal with uncertain situations
• Attention to detail
• Good knowledge of the English language
