Job Description

Our client is a well-known company operating within the retail and hospitality sector, located in Limassol. They’re currently looking for an Accountant to join their office in Limassol. The ideal candidate would have Accounting knowledge, Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Greek and highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.

Job Responsibilities

  • Process invoices, receipts, payments and handle day-to-day accounting related tasks
  • Record financial transactions in the accounting system and maintain accurate records
  • Perform regular suppliers and bank reconciliations
  • Collection management
  • Ensure proper filing and document retention in line with internal policies
  • Assisting in the preparation of quarterly and year-end audits
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by the Chief Financial Officer

Requirements

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Greek
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team
  • Previous experience in accounting is considered an advantage
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central or other ERP systems is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Solid understanding of IFRS reporting standards is an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
